TOONTUBERS is a spin-off series based on Cartoon Network shows and presented by its characters who give tips and tricks about video games. Since its launch it has been among the top 5 most watched series on Cartoon Network, and due to its success the project was expanded by creating Cartoon Network’s first e-sports program: Toontubers League.
CARTOON NETWORK reached us to renew the image of Toontubers and Toontubers League, due to the premiere of a new season that would include new shows and more characters. Making this new proposal while keeping the visual identity of the brand, was a great and beautiful challenge to go through.
During the process, vapor wave was one of our inspirations, mixing it with a trendy gamer world that is identifiable by the young fans of the show, while keeping the characteristic humor of Cartoon Network.
TOONTUBERS es una serie spin-off derivada de programas de CN y presentada por sus personajes, quienes dan consejos y muestran trucos sobre videojuegos. Desde su lanzamiento ha estado entre las 5 series más vistas de Cartoon Network, y debido a su éxito el proyecto se amplió y se creó el primer programa de e-sports de CN: Toontubers League.
CARTOON NETWORK nos convocó para hacer un refresh a la imagen de Toontubers y Toontubers League aprovechando el estreno de una nueva temporada que incluiría nuevos shows y más personajes. Realizar esta nueva propuesta pero sin perder la identidad visual del Brand de la serie fue un gran desafío lindo de transitar.
En el proceso, el vapor wave fue uno de nuestros ejes de inspiración, cruzándolo con un mundo gamer actual e identificable por los jóvenes seguidores del programa, y conservando el humor característico de CN.
