Introduction

Together with the Demo Duck agency, we developed this commercial spot for the Atlantic 10 Conference, one of the most competitive college basketball leagues in the United States. The goal of the piece was to capture the intensity, speed, and physicality of the live game to create a promotional piece capable of standing out on ESPN broadcasts and top-tier digital platforms.

Within the process

Frame-by-frame rotoscoping
We perform manual tracing on real match footage to seamlessly integrate the players within the animated graphic universe, maintaining human warmth within the composition.

Collage & Textures Aesthetic
We combine layers of video, heavy sports typography, and dynamic textures to convey the fast pace and atmosphere of a packed court.

Synchronization and Game Pace
Every cut, transition, and graphic movement was animated to the beat of an internal rhythm that reflects the urgency of a fast break in basketball.
