The Flashlight Project.

Six directors. Five chapters. One studio to close it all.

Introduction

The production company Final Frontier commissioned us to direct and produce the final episode of The Flashlight Project, a 6-episode animated series where each previous installment had been directed by a different creator with their own aesthetic style. The challenge was to take everything previously built and condense it into a closing chapter capable of organically bringing together radically different visual universes.

Within the process

Mixed Media Orchestration
We brought together 2D animation, traditional animation (cel animation), motion graphics, CGI/3D, and live-action integration within the same story, without the piece feeling like an unconnected collage.

Senior team curation
We put together a multidisciplinary team assembled specifically for this brief (2D/3D animators, illustrators, cel animation specialists, compositors, and sound designers) coordinated under a unified creative direction.

Transitions and narrative rhythm
Through the storyboard, we design visual bridges and dynamic transitions so that the jumps between disciplines
